3D Printing Services
3D printing has become an incredibly versatile manufacturing method over the recent years. The ability to create complex and functional shapes, with no tooling required allows for flexible and cost effective production of custom parts and short batch runs.
Some of the many categories of solutions that we can design + print include:
-
Custom and bespoke parts, objects and products
-
Replacement parts for broken or out-of-production appliances or tools.
-
Speciality functional parts for unique use
-
Small lettering for indoor signage

Example of broken part replacement

The above diagram is a great example of how broken or out-of-production parts can be modelled, possibly improved, and replicated. A broken part maybe
critical to the function of a tool or product, and reproducing it through the 3D printing process can be an efficient solution.
Example of a part designed for a unique use

We can help develop solutions for unique problems that may arise. The above example shows how a custom nozzle attachment for a workshop vacuum is designed to fit into narrow spaces where the original nozzle couldn't.

Our Printers
Our main printers are filament based (known as FDM - Fused Deposition Modelling). These printers work by melting the plastic filament and accurately depositing it onto the build plate layer by layer.
-
Maximum Print Size - 240mm W x 200mm D x 210mm H.
-
Single material / single colour printing only.
We also have a resin printer that cures a UV sensitive liquid
into a solid object. This printer can achieve incredibly finely detailed parts.
-
Maximum Print Size - 127mm W x 80mm D x 150mm H
-
Single material / single colour printing only.
Materials
We use a wide range PLA and PETG filaments that can cover almost any application. Within these two material types include standard black, white and clear colours as well as many specialty filaments, colours and effects.
Similarly, our resin printer accommodates prototyping grey and clear colours as well as specialty resins.
Each project is different however, and understanding the intended application will help in deciding which material is best suited.
Please see the FAQ page for a complete list of materials that we can work with.

Post-Processing
A wide range of fasteners, threaded inserts, bearings and tubular materials are available to be designed into a project, and fabricated or assembled into finished printed components.
